We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. Your data is processed confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection provisions of Switzerland (Federal Act on Data Protection, revFADP) and, where applicable, the requirements of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

We process personal data only to the extent necessary for providing our medical and complementary services, operating our website, communicating with patients, or optimizing our offering, or where you have consented to it.

3. Visiting Our Website / Server Log Data

When you visit our website, information transmitted by your browser to our server is automatically recorded (server log files). This includes in particular: IP address, date and time, name and URL of the file accessed, referrer URL, browser used, and operating system.

This data is used to ensure system security and stability, for error analysis, and to ensure the technically smooth operation of our website, and is generally deleted after 12 months at the latest, unless longer retention is required for security or evidentiary reasons.

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies (e.g. local storage, scripts) to facilitate use, enable certain functions, and analyze and improve our online offerings.

We distinguish between:

5. Online Appointment Booking and Patient Management (OneDoc, SwissMR)

We use the OneDoc service for online appointment booking. Through it, you can book appointments online 24/7; the data entered is processed for appointment organization and transmitted to our practice.

For internal patient management, we use practice software (e.g. SwissMR), in which health data in particular is stored as especially sensitive personal data.

Health data is generally retained for 20 years from the last treatment, unless longer or shorter statutory periods apply.

6. Contact Forms and Email Contact

If you contact us via a form on the website or by email, we process the data you provide for the purpose of processing and responding to your inquiry.

7. Online Marketing, Analytics, and Third-Party Services (Google, Mouseflow, Pipedrive)

7.1 Google Services (Tag Manager, Ads, Maps, YouTube)

We use Google Tag Manager for the technical management of tracking tags. Analytics and marketing tags are only activated if you have given consent via the cookie banner.

7.2 Mouseflow (UX Analytics)

For user-centred analytics, we use the tool Mouseflow – exclusively with your consent. IP addresses are shortened or anonymized, and form entries are not recorded.

7.3 Pipedrive (CRM and Relationship Management)

For customer and relationship management, we use a CRM system such as Pipedrive. There, we store contact and communication data to track inquiries.

8. Website Hosting

Our website is operated by an external hosting provider. The host processes data exclusively on our behalf and according to our instructions.

9. Retention Period

We store personal data only for as long as necessary for the respective purpose or as required by statutory retention obligations. For medical data, a minimum retention period of 20 years generally applies.

10. Your Rights as a Data Subject

You have, in particular, the following rights:

• the right to information about the data stored with us;
• the right to correction of inaccurate data;
• the right to deletion, provided no statutory retention obligations apply;
• the right to restriction of processing;
• the right to object to data processing;
• the right to data portability, where applicable.

If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

11. Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)

We do not use AI systems for diagnostics, interpretation of findings, triage, or automated decisions regarding patients. No AI chatbot is used on this website.

Some of the stock images, as well as the olive tree imagery on the homepage, were generated using generative AI models and labelled accordingly. Details can be found in our AI Transparency Notice.
